Why Learning Breakfasts
The Program Management Forum has been offering Learning Breakfasts for the last three years. They are three to four-hour workshops lead by two experienced instructors, where a single topic is developed in depth. Including tools, templates, processes, etc. They are highly interactive to enable the participants to apply the learnings right away.
We have discovered that the ability of participants to apply what they learn goes up if the workshop is kept to a single subject. While two-day seminars have their place, teams benefit from attending a session where a single topic is covered, for example Risk Management, Postmorterms, Voice of the Customer, Etc.
Over the last three years we have improved the format by making the sessions highly interactive; thus, providing immediate applicability of the new tools, and methods. In addition, we select instructors with proven credentials — people who have actually used the methodology in a real-world environment, and who are able to address specific questions by providing highly relevant answers.
Our Learning Breakfasts format (3-hours-on-a-single-topic) provides a new approach to training. It enables teams to get the right training, at the right time — a highly productive and targeted investment.

The practical Learning Breakfast format is now conveniently offered for in house training. The same 3-hour-single-topic approach is now available for your team, in your shop or office. We have received requests for full teams to attend some of the topics in our portfolio. These are highly focused, half-day seminars, which cover one specific topic.
